Rachel & Sasha’s Engagement Session – Lethbridge Wedding Photographer

Earlier this summer I was able to spend time with Rachel and Sasha at their family’s property just past Coalhurst for their engagement session. I’ll never tire of these gorgeous views of the coulees and the Old Man River. So when my clients want to have their sessions in and around them, I happily agree!

Throughout our session together, I was able to hear the story of how these two met- through mutual friends! Having grown their relationship over the last three years, their love has flourished. Now they are planning for their wedding and their forever story!

We had a great time exploring the beautiful property and chasing that beautiful early summer light. We found some flowering cactus in which I strategically placed Rachel’s gorgeous engagement ring!

Here’s a few of my favourites from our engagement session together. These images are full of smiles, lots of laughter, and plenty of love! Congratulations again Rachel and Sasha, I wish both many blessings as you continue to plan for your wedding day!

From a trip to Georgia in February to visiting family in October, to having family down, trips to mountains, driving all over Alberta for sessions, it has been an incredible year!🎉

And 2026 is shaping up to be pretty awesome too! My goal this coming year is to really establish a good client care experience. I am so thankful for you all and I want to continue to build an experience that is joyful and memorable!

Oh hey 👋 this post was promised a long while back 🫣 life has been moving a mile a minute. While I’m coming up on almost 12 years of photography, I’ve been drawn down memory lane. This little hobby of what started to be capturing my kids growing up has blossomed into something so joyful and fulfilling. These last years have been filled with blessings but also with unknowns and shed tears.

Photography has given me friendships, travel opportunities, so many beautiful landscapes, and endless memories. My camera has taken me to Iceland, Nova Scotia, Georgia, Ontario and Alberta (always up for more places!!) and who knows where to next! 🌎

But most importantly, it has brought me into so many of YOUR lives! I count it such an immense blessing to be invited into so many of your most joyful, important, and sometimes tearful moments in your lives.

I know how powerful memories are…and how impactful photo memories can be. I remind myself of that at the beginning of each and every photoshoot. I have a gift worth giving and you have a story worth telling.💗

So here’s to 12 years and however many more to come! ✨
