I discovered that this blog post was still sitting in my drafts folder! It’s time that this extended family session is feature on my blog! What a joy it was to be able to photograph this amazing family in Lethbridge! They brought smiles, love, and most of all, the most beautiful connection and care for one another!
One thing I love about outdoor sessions, is that there is always something to do. I find giving kids something to marvel at, increases their natural joy and discovery. From throwing rocks into the river, to finding the perfect stone or stick, or to spotting wildlife, there are so many new things! This is great for creating those authentic and fun moments!
A favourite location for my family sessions is Popson Park in Lethbridge. It has the perfect amount of shade to rolling hills and those stunning coulee views! It never disappoints being at that beautiful location.
We had a great time capturing some generational and meaningful images! Having these memories in photo form is something that will always be cherished. I’ve discovered, and I’m sure you have too, that time moves incredibly fast! Lives seem to be moving at breakneck speed and making sure to stop and take that time for family photos is something that really is important!
After seeing this post again and looking back, I’m so thankful that this beautiful and wonderful extended family now has all these images to look back on! What a joy to see the things that were but also to see how things continue to grow!
