Spring is a beautiful time to get married! Sharon and Jared chose a beautiful day in May to commit their lives to one another in front of God and their loved ones. This wedding day started out with beautiful sunshine and graced us with some notorious spring rain. Even though this rain came during the bulk of our portraits, we were able to pivot and still get so many beautiful images!
I have not had the opportunity to shoot a full wedding day at The Norland Historic Estate until their wedding. The grounds, building, and atmosphere, has the ability to make you feel like you are somewhere in the southern United States and not Southern Alberta! From the grand porch, the tall columns, to the towering trees, everything leads to such a beautiful location for this spring wedding.
We travelled out of town to Bethel Free Reformed Church for the formal part of their wedding day! The Norland Historic Estate was the perfect location for all their family portraits. We even included some super cute ones with all their nieces and nephews! This was the part of the day where the rain decided to fall. Not to fear, the covered porch made an excellent hide out until the rain passed by!
Their reception was filled with the most heartfelt speeches, presentations, and songs. It was an space that was filled with so much love and care for this beautiful couple.
Here are a few of my favourite images from their gorgeous May wedding day. I have a hard time narrowing down and compiling so many images into a small post. But, I think this collection tells a beautiful story of their day.
