On a beautiful summer July evening I ventured out to a small oasis near Little Bow in Southern Alberta. Brett and Tyler invited me to their family’s slice of paradise for their engagement session. Every way that I turned, the landscape was just breathtaking.
While the sun wasn’t fully present, the clouds provided us some moody looking skies for some beautiful engagement photos. We were saved from heavy rain and it only sprinkled ever so lightly for a minute or two.
The energy and love that Brett and Tyler share was so evident throughout our session together. We explored the property and I enjoyed hearing what this place means to them. I think the words sanctuary and beautiful escape were used.
While they were originally going to be using this space for their wedding this coming summer, their plans changed this fall and they’ll be getting married back in BC. I was so honoured to be able to spend an hour and a bit with the two of them and their dog Luna.
