I first met Christine back in 2014 when her son Archer was a brand new baby. This past December I was able to come back into her home and capture some images of her and her two children. As a mom, I know how overwhelming it can be to balance so much in our lives. Between raising kids, running a business, trying to keep the house clean an investing in relationships- we often feel pulled in so many directions. Motherhood sessions like this remind me over and over of our first and most important calling. To raise and love our children well. I know how motherhood can bring exhaustion, joy, frustration and love all at the same time. I really feel that we as mothers need to tell our stories. Not only just in still pictures but in everyday moving pictures. This is life.
I was able to capture some still frames from our morning together but I also was able to take video footage of the time that I was there. You may have already seen the video footage from this session- but it was so sweet so I needed to share it again!
Life is busy. Life with littles is even more busy. Making time for a photo session with your little ones doesn’t have to be as stressful or as overwhelming as you may think it to be. I promise you that you will cherish these images forever. These moments pass by so quickly. A lifestyle in-home session not only gives you the comfort of you being in your home, it allows you to create memories in your own space.

My first experience with Kristin was newborn photos with my son. I asked around and had multiple people recommend her, so I booked with her once Archer was born. She came to our home and did a lifestyle newborn session. I’m not exaggerating when I say her pictures are some of my favourites ever. She then came to our home not too long ago to do a lifestyle session of Archer and our daughter Hazel. I love these pictures too! The video she made of our home and kiddos brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it. I highly recommend Kristin!
