Family Christmas Tree Farm Session – Hamilton Family Photographer

As I’m writing this blog post its snowing outside! We all knew it was coming and now its upon us! Honestly, it looks nice and pretty- the big fluffy flakes, the ones you can catch on your tongue!

About this time last year I was able to spend some time with Sarah and her family- her sister and her family and her parents. They braved the cold weather at Drysdale’s Tree Farm, which had a beautiful blanket of snow, and we were able to capture some memories for them.

The little ones did so well and were so exceptionally cute in their little bear snowsuits– they were the highlight of the photoshoot! This family was a pleasure to photograph and I really sensed the closeness and love that they shared for one another. Thank you for having me! Here are a few favourites from our time together.

✨ Amanda & Delore ✨ what a beautiful day to close out my 2025 weddings! They were surrounded by so many loved ones and dear loved ones watching from above.💗 So many personal touches were woven into their day. From honouring Delore’s mom who passed away, to incorporating birds of prey, and to their favourite date night spot, all of their day was so them!

We were blessed by beautiful weather, a tad bit windy, but gorgeous end of day light! Here’s a few favourites from their November wedding day!💗🤩

Oh and this was my first time I was able to photograph a wedding couple with an owl and a golden eagle- so cool!

I never did share this stunning wedding party from Oriana & Connor’s wedding day! Not only did they look stunning, they were the best group to work with! They sure picked some awesome people to stand with them on their day! I love how the pale blues of the ladies dresses fit so beautifully with the surroundings of @thenorlandhistoricestate

Oh hey 👋 this post was promised a long while back 🫣 life has been moving a mile a minute. While I’m coming up on almost 12 years of photography, I’ve been drawn down memory lane. This little hobby of what started to be capturing my kids growing up has blossomed into something so joyful and fulfilling. These last years have been filled with blessings but also with unknowns and shed tears.

Photography has given me friendships, travel opportunities, so many beautiful landscapes, and endless memories. My camera has taken me to Iceland, Nova Scotia, Georgia, Ontario and Alberta (always up for more places!!) and who knows where to next! 🌎

But most importantly, it has brought me into so many of YOUR lives! I count it such an immense blessing to be invited into so many of your most joyful, important, and sometimes tearful moments in your lives.

I know how powerful memories are…and how impactful photo memories can be. I remind myself of that at the beginning of each and every photoshoot. I have a gift worth giving and you have a story worth telling.💗

So here’s to 12 years and however many more to come! ✨

We squeezed this session in last week right before the wind got the rest of the leaves! The Anderson family is special to our family as they have become great friends over the last few years! They also relocated to Alberta and didn’t know anyone else here at the time. It was so good to have fellow Albertan transplants to relate to and build relationships with!

Okay, my last session from Ontario is up! And this session was another super special session!💗 I thoroughly enjoyed hang out with my bro & sis in law and their three beautiful and spunky kiddos!

It was a crisp fall morning and the scenery was in peak display!! There’s no shortage of beautiful scenery during the fall season in Ontario.🤩

We explored the beautiful little park, played some epic red light green light and had lots of fun just hanging out! These kiddos have grown up so much in the last few years, it’s crazy how quickly kids grow! 😍 Their family is thick into the busy season with sports, work and all the life things! Life moves so quickly and so it was nice to spend a bit of time together catching up again 💗

Okay, my last session from Ontario is up! And this session was another super special session!💗 I thoroughly enjoyed hang out with my bro & sis in law and their three beautiful and spunky kiddos!

I think I’ve been photographing the Joustra family for almost 10 years now! From engagement, wedding, newborn and first year photos, they’ve invited me to be a part of their story! And it’s been such a joy!! 🤗

This beautiful family is embarking on another adventure in the coming year with new job opportunities and a move south of the border! I’m not sure when our paths will cross again but I’m so thankful to have been able to connect with them again on my trip to Ontario.

Here’s some of my favourite images from our session together! 🤩 For our session we explored Princess Point, spotted swans, found badger burrows and talked dinosaurs. It was perfect! 💗

I don’t think I’ve been more excited at a session until this moment. 🌈 We dodged rain and wind and then this glorious rainbow appeared!

My time in Ontario was such a joy and made even more joyful by all my loved ones! And I got to take pictures of two of my sibs and their families!
