Sometimes the light hits just right, and so does the moment! Grad season is in full swing and I’m so excited to share all the amazing grads that I have the joy of photographing this year!

Addy graduated this past weekend, and as the youngest of her family, this moment was extra sweet! She also received the prestigious Excellence award! ✨

It was a joy to spend time with her family and grandmas and to hear her plans and adventures for her future! 💗

Oh the mountains never ever disappoint!🤩 Here’s a sneak peek of Oriana & Connor’s mountain engagement session!

Seeing that this was their first time to #watertonlakesnationalpark I made sure to take them to a number of my favourite spots! And it sure was on beautiful display last night and we had very little wind!🤗

I had such a great time with this lovely couple and I’m looking forward to photographing their wedding at @thenorlandhistoricestate in September!

In my stories, I asked if I should share another sneak peek from Sharon & Jared’s wedding day and you all voted highly yes! So here they are!!

A large part of the wedding includes all the people who have played an instrumental part in the couple’s lives. Sharon sure has an amazing group of wonderful women surrounding her.💗

From sisters who have been there through it all, to friends who have come alongside her throughout the years, having those who love, support and adventure with you is so important!

These ladies were a joy to spend time with and I’m personally in love with the mismatched bridesmaids dresses!🤩💗

We were dodging rain a bit throughout the formal portrait part of the day so we made good use of the covered porches which was the perfect spot!

✨💗Sharon & Jared are married!! 💗✨

Their beautiful wedding day was filled with joy and love. They pledged their love and devotion to one another in front of God and the church, surrounded by loved ones- who’d come from near and far!

Even though unexpected rainfall made its way through our formal photos, there were so many beautiful moments throughout the day. And my camera photo count shows it as I now have to go through thousands of photos!

It was so hard to choose only 20 photos to share but here’s a quick peek at their beautiful wedding day!🤩💗

Tomorrow is wedding day for Sharon & Jared! 💍🎉 It’s going to be a beautiful day filled with love, celebrations with family and so many loved ones!

As always, I never seem to be able to get behind the scenes photos or video, and it’s likely because I’ll be focused on what’s happening! Wedding days fly by so fast and I truly believe as photographers that we need to be present and capturing the moments!

This session was a year in the making! Last year I donated a full free session (which happens very rarely!) to @westernstockman for their Ladies Night event. Sheena was the lucky winner of that session!

Last week I was able to spend time with her partner and her two daughters. This beautiful crew rocked their session, and of course they were clothed in @westernstockman outfits 💗

I love how the coulees are greening up and adding a gorgeous depth to the background! Bring on all these May & June sessions!🤩

I had the joy of spending time with Sarah & Chris and their amazing family and her family extended last weekend! Last year I was able to photograph Chris’ extended family— and at that time they were a family of 3! Life changes so quickly and babies grow so quickly!

It was a joy to spend time with them in the ever so stunning U of L Science building! I fall in love with the symmetry every time!😂

It’s grad season!🤩🎉🌸💗 This is such an important time for so many- from the grads, to the parents and to all their loved ones!

High school goes so incredibly fast and it always surprises me how much growth and formation happens in that time!

Sophie is set to complete her final year soon and is excited for all the new adventures that will be coming her way next year!

The setting sun at #parklake was the perfect setting for some beautiful grad portraits of a beautiful young lady!💗 (and she had a great twirling dress!)
