Hey!!👋 I’ve been procrastinating on this post! Why?! It’s my 2500th post!🤯 When I started this account however many years ago, it was to share cute pictures of my kiddos and what was going on in our lives.
Never did I think that this is where those cute pictures would bring me! ☺️
From weddings, joyful moments, sad moments, growing families, graduations, engagements and all the important events of your lives, you have graciously invited me to play a small part in it.
When we moved west almost 3 years ago, it was a huge leap of faith. God had placed on hearts a call, or in this case, a push. We knew he had more planned for us. We knew he had healing and restoration promised for us.
But at the time, it was hard to trust. Everything was new. We didn’t know anyone!!
Time and perspective are tricky words. In my experience, they have been painful words but also words that hold blessings. We have been in #alberta now for almost three years, and looking back I would do it all over again!
We are continually grateful and continue to be stretched and I’m glad we leaned into the unknown and the hard!
My business has grown and it has been all thanks to this wonderful community out west!💗 I love hearing each story, spending time with you all, capturing so many joyful images!
So here’s to my 2500th post 🤗🎉🥂

The rain did not dampen Jean and Ryan’s wedding day!! The joy could be seen and felt all throughout their day!!💗
Earlier last week I reached out to them asking if we had a rain plan, to which they quickly secured the @lofteventslethbridge for all their formal portraits! What a great place for some beautiful portraits safe from the crazy sideways rain!
I experienced a first at this wedding! I’ve photographed dozens of weddings over the years and I have never seen a more dedicate group of groomsmen! Ryan’s guys agreed to shave their facial hair in exchange for monetary gifts to the bride and groom!😂 When the threshold of $1,000 was reached, they upheld their end of the bargain and the facial hair was removed! 🙌 Be sure to scroll through to see before and afters!

I was fully prepared to share way more than 20 images from Natalie & Brock’s engagement session, but Instagram won’t let me! So here’s my favourites (but I have more!) of our time together! 😍
June 19th is an important day for these two and so we scheduled their session on this date and their wedding next year is also planned for June 19th! It was such a joy to spend time with this lovely couple and to find new favourite spots at #popsonpark And this time no rattlesnakes were spotted!!🤗

And then they were a family of four!🤩 The Pagliericci family recently welcomed baby boy #2 to their family and wanted to document this time in their lives! And it’s a busy one! With a fiery 18 month old and their sweet baby A their arms and hearts are full 💗
We captured some sweet at home photos and then ventured outdoors to spend some time enjoying the beautiful day!

Sydney & Hazen are married (again!) 🎉🎉🎉 On June 14, six months to the day that they originally said their vows, they once again exchanged vows and rings, this time in front of all their loved ones!
They chose to have their wedding at the farm that Syd grew up on and it was so special because a few of the photo spots, she’d say, “oh we had a treehouse in this tree!” or “we used to run through here”. Having a place, a home like this is so special!💗
It was such a beautiful day, we even dodged the rain, but just were treated to moody clouds instead!🤩

It’s wedding day (again!) for Sydney & Hazen! They legally married last fall but today is their big celebration wedding day…exactly like a regular wedding day! All their family and loved ones will be surrounding them with love and support!

Why book an extended family session? I can name so many reasons! This family chose to recognize an important accomplishment of one of their family members and to celebrate with him!
It was a joy to spend time with this lovely extended family this past weekend to capture some updated family photos. Time with family is so precious and lives move at an incredible pace!
Being intentional and carving out time to make something like this happen may feel overwhelming but having these moments documented is something that you can never get back!✨
