The Wagter Family ~ Summer Beach Session – Hamilton Family Photographer

Being able to do something I love and being able to photograph people I love brings me such incredible joy!  I’ve know this family all my life as they are my family <3 My aunt has been one of my biggest cheerleaders when it has come to my photography journey and I’m so grateful for her and the joy she brings to those around her.

I love being able to look back at some of the fun sessions I did earlier this year.  I’m kind of wishing it was warm like this day right now!  Having moved to a new area, I’m always looking for new places to bring my clients to for sessions.  This awesome beach is a local favourite spot in Dunnville and I’m hoping to be able to use this beach for more sessions (in the warmer weather of course!)

Only a short 30 years earlier Brian and Brenda were married and now all those years later their family has grown.  Being able to come together and document this milestone for them was a blessing.  And a fun fact, I was the flower girl at their wedding, I was only 3 years old!  Make sure you scroll all the way to the end as you may see a fun picture or two!  Here are a few of my favourite moments from our time together!

As I was shooting this gorgeous maternity session last fall, a couple of walkers passed us by in the background and yelled, “I hope we don’t photobomb you!” I knew that they would and rather than pausing, I kept on shooting.

@lightroom is simply the bomb and I literally use it for about 99% of my editing. Their AI generative feature is killer! I have used it SO MUCH since it’s been released. It helps me get rid of fly away hairs, mosquito bites, photobombers and so much more. This is one feature I’ve been again and again thankful for!

Here’s a quick fun video of me editing out those nature walkers! It’s just a basic AI fix bit still shows the power of the tool!

Crazy to say goodbye to 2024!! 🤯 So many great things happened this year, and I have much to say, but I have too many things to do today- including packing up Christmas! So I’m signing off until new year!! Happy New Year’s everyone!! 🎉🤩🥳
