Spending time in Waterton Lakes National Park for an engagement session is one of my most favourite things! When planning Alyssa & Luke’s engagement session, they said they’d love to be able to do it in Waterton. Everything came together to create a beautiful engagement session.
Being at the end of September, you never know what the weather will do! We, however, were treated to balmy temperatures, very little wind (which is a miracle!) and peeks of sunlight all throughout.
We started our session in Waterton by a lovely little day use area located at the front of the park. This spot is one of my favourites! It’s a greatly little spot to work out nerves and get a more comfortable in front of the camera. We journeyed to an epic location with amazing views and captured some beautiful engagement photos with that gorgeous mountain light.
Waterton is iconic not only for its mountains but for the bodies water obviously! We made sure to get photos on the rocky shores, spent time popping champagne, and they even brought out their favourite game – scrabble!
Everything came together so beautiful for this beautiful engagement session in the glorious location at Waterton National Park. It was such a joy to spend time with Alyssa & Luke and to celebrate their engagement with creating some lasting new photo memories. Seeing that this session was almost a year ago, it was necessary that I get around to blogging it! These images below are just too beautiful not to share!
