I couldn’t wait…I had to blog this beautiful family blossom session! This session was a little different than the typical family lifestyle session and I am quite okay with that. Rachel reached out to me letting me know that her and her sister intended to gift their mother a photoshoot in the blossoms with her four grandchildren. My heart was so happy to hear of their plans and I knew that this session would be very important to them.
Our blossom session began at the coveted golden hour time at SunValley Farms in Winona and we simply could not have had a more fantastic evening. Having had to reschedule from the weekend prior due to a lack of blooms, this Friday spring night felt more like a warm summer evening.
It was evident throughout our session that Grammy is dearly loved and that she dearly loves her grandchildren. There was a lot of laughter, some story telling, lots of hugging, and altogether a joyous time spent with one another.

We absolutely love the photos. You did an amazing job of capturing each person’s spirit – it’s like moments that I try to keep in my memory but you were able to capture in a photograph. We can’t thank you enough!!
I’m so thankful to have played a small part in creating some lasting images for this family! I know photos of grandparents with grandchildren are some of the most priceless possessions one can own.
